  This is a hotel go-to for Viareggio! We loved rooms and views, this property had everything we need. Moreover, parking was on site.

  Sensational breakfast, professional staff, good sized room. The relaxed atmosphere when you walk in. Only 20 minutes on foot from Viareggio railway station. There was a superb bar on site…

  We were there for Carnavale and as busy as they were, every one of the staff was remarkable, personable, and eager to make our stay comfortable. Food was excellent, room spacious, and we felt pampered throughout our stay. The hotel even arranged for a taxi to pick us up from the hospital after an unfortunate accident on the street and we made it back in time for the parade. It was a beautiful weekend and hope we find our way back in the future.

  Very comfortable with relaxing garden and pool area. Excellent staff. We were allocated room 403 which had its own sitting room and extra bedroom with mountain view.

  About a mile from the centre of town, railway and bus stations, so got a little bored with the walk back and forth along the promenade. Access to the beach, across the road from hotel, expensive.

  Beautiful old building, on perfect beachfront location. All staff very friendly, service was great. excellent breakfast. Rooms extremely clean with lovely newly fitted bathroom! Just Lovely!

  We only stayed one night but the staff were very helpful and booked us a table at a local fish restaurant which was excellent. The barman made us excellent martinis too. We really liked this hotel, it is the complete opposite of the usual homogenous hotel decor with a slighty shabby and faded 20s/30s glamour that was so appealing and chic. The dining room and public rooms were fabulous. Our room was upgraded from one with a sea view to one with a balcony (in fact there were two) and it was huge, about 4 times the size of other rooms we have stayed in. The swimming pool was lovely too.

  A minor criticism is that our bathroom was due for refurbishment.

  Hotel facilities are good, and we particularly made use of the excellent swimming pool. The hotel staff seemed very enthusiastic, were very helpful and made us feel so welcome.

  Lovely hotel, staff were so helpful and friendly. We had a noisy air con and they moved us to a new room same day. Pablo behind reception was incredibly nice and helpful helping us book up restaurants daily. Basically nothing was too much trouble, everyone always had a smile, would highly reccomend.   The hotel had an air of faded luxury which I liked but some may not find luxurious enough. The swimming pool area was fantastic with friendly staff. You could hire bicycles from the hotel and there is a good cycle route along the coast. Buses go from right outside the hotel to Pisa and Lucca so no need for expensive excursions. The breakfast choice and qualtiy was excellent. Drinks at the bar were fairly priced. Hotel faced beach.

  The hotel was overall good but I did not like the fact that despite paying quite a lot of money for the room, we still had to pay 20 euros to get chairs and one umberella located at the back of the beach. The beach is very regimented and you have to pay this price to sit on it. The public beach is just past the port area and you need to cycle there. The food in the restaurant was ok but nothing really special. I would have liked more information on places to go provided as there was little information available. When we asked one of the reception staff to advise a good restaurant sadly we got the worst meal of our holiday.

  We thought the rooms were good but a little expensive for what you get. We only ate dinner their once not that impressive. Breakfast was good. We used the hotel as a base for travelling around Tuscany.

  This was our second stay at this hotel and it will not be our last.Lovelly Italian grandeur, good food , garden and swimming pool. Also very helpful staff. Ideal location to visit Pisa, Florence and Lucca.

  Everything – it is a pleasant hotel in a perfect location. The hotel even supplies towels for use on the beach and at the pool which is good. Lovely pool too.
