I visited Palma with my partner and we stayed at the hotel for my Birthday, we found a really nice composition made with towels shaped as Swans/heart. No one knew was my birthday and I got delivered a bottle of Prosecco and two glasses with a note from the manager and birthday wishes from the staff in my room. I assume someone noticed it was my birthday on the check in and went above and beyond. Really great service, really great food the whole staff was always available and friendly even with lovely recommendations for palma’s night life and attraction. The hotel is very clean and has a lot of amenities. Definitely recommended! We will be back!
Arrived at the hotel to find out the sky bar is closed at this time of year not stated anywhere on website bed is brick hard if your British I would avoid this hotel as Spanish and Germans are the main priority the food was fish every night and lunch apart from 2 nights out of the 7 had to go to Burger King for dinner after paying all inclusive not to mention the beer and wine being horrible only thing about the hotel I would say it is clean and the staff are lovely but need to put more of an effort in.
Upon arriving, the receptionist wasn’t totally welcoming, and whilst trying to check us in, she was interrupted by a rude guest, demanding that something was printed out there and then, to which the receptionist decided to adhere to her demands rather than ask her to wait until she had dealt with us. Upon entering our ‘suite’, we noticed the couch was in disrepair, the mini fridge wasn’t cold, and there were cracks in some of the floor tiles. The bedroom was well presented, mattress was comfy but could of done with extra pillows. The shower cubicle in the room is small, and I had to squeeze myself in to be able to shut the door. The bath wasn’t big either, so didn’t enjoy the soak I wanted after a long journey. Breakfast everyday was not 4 star material. The ‘hot’ food was actually lukewarm at best, and pretty bland. Continental breakfast and cereals were just the same everyday, and wasn’t much variety. Lunch again was minimal in choice, bland tastes and food was actually labelled incorrectly. Dinner wasn’t the best either, seemed like even though it is a adults only hotel, they seemed like they were catering for children. I only found a few items edible through all 21 meal sittings, and my partner even less. Disappointed about the alcohol options available. I myself am a cider drinker, but this wasn’t available anywhere in the hotel, so I had to stick to soft drinks and buy my alcohol from the local shops. 90% of the staff were welcoming, smiling and friendly, and made us feel at ease. Entertainment was advertised, but not seen nor heard any all week, except for an hour on the SkyBar on Friday night. The music that was played at night in the pool bar area was not to my taste as I felt alot of it was derogatory. Given an average rating just because of the friendly staff. They tried hard and did what they could in what I would call a bad situation. I would rate this hotel experience as a 1.5 star, pushing a 2 star at most.…
Very good animation from Daniel. Good music… amazing Service from Luana on the Bar. Beautiful few from the roof of the hotel. Very nice Pool… I am Very impressed 🙂 its lokated in Arenal. A nice Hotel to chill and relaxe. Short distance to the beach.
Just what we needed for a short trip to get some winter sun. Great location, very near to bus routes, the tourist information centre, the beach, and a Lidl, where we bought food to keep in the hotel room’s small fridge (we did not go all inclusive or eat any food from the hotel). Room also had great lighting, a lovely rain showerhead and clean bathroom area, a desk with chair, large wardrobe, and both a thin and thick curtain over the balcony doors. Its felt modern and neat, although it’s not huge. Balcony had table and chairs so we could eat dinner while watching the sunset. We slept very well. Nice staff who understand Spanish, German and English. Check in took a while, but check out was quick. Only negatives – firm bed, maybe too firm for some although fine for us, flat pillow. No full length mirror. Wifi was confusing to connect to at first. Small stain on very bottom of one bed sheet and on one towel but we had plenty of other towels to use instead. Also we were on the top floor so could hear 80’s music from the roof bar until about midnight. Didn’t bother us though. And finally, the balconies are not that well separated so you can see people in the adjoining rooms on their balconies too. Although while we were there, only saw about 3 people, not many people were using their balconies it seems. For the price we paid, we were very happy, and would return.…
A quick taxi ride from the airport, we arrived before check in, signed our paperwork and went for a bite to eat before collecting our keys. Room was clean and presentable, beds comfortable enough. Nice balcony overlooking the front of the hotel for a bit of people watching and a view of the front gardens below. Food has been great, buffet style with many choices. 5 minute walk to the beach, plenty of mini marts and eateries nearby too. Plenty of sun loungers and seats to choose from in the communal areas. Just what we needed as the weather turned in the UK!
Receptionist on the night we arrived the receptionist couldn’t not understand English to well so was a lot longer process than expected we didn’t realise there were tax fees as this was never explained so had to borrow money to pay it. Bedroom very small seemed clean enough although the floor tiles in shower were not level so caught my foot a couple times. The view from the top Was poor as was in a built up area. Beds are very uncomfortable with just a long pillow for two people had to ask for more. Dinning The food was standard a lot of the same things and a lot of foods reused from breakfast or lunch and even had some of the dinner from the night before at breakfast service was ok as all you could eat and drink except the three drink rule which is three drinks at lunch and three at dinner which I didn’t like as I don’t like drinking while eating. So couldn’t make use of that. Staff weren’t really about and always had to clear my own plates off the table. So this was an average experience at best. The pool bar was ok nothing stood out really but only certain things are all inclusive so if you want beer you need to pay if you wanted proper coffee you had to which I felt wasn’t great. The food choice for snacks were toasties or then morning bakery goods (so that weren’t great either) the staff in the area were very nice and polite and very friendly again language barrier but we are in Majorca. Pool area No parasols which was not great as at some points you would just want some shade. Nice little area same music every day standard again nothing but average. The roof top bar not worth having as it’s not included in the all inclusive and you have to pay to lay on some of the beds up there. You let not allowed all inclusive drinks up there. The entertainment was dreadful the sound was awful the only good thing was the person running it all was nice. As a whole I don’t understand how this hotel is any better than three stars I didn’t enjoy and wouldn’t come back I don’t think it was worth the money or was it there are quite a few hidden cost which you don’t know till you get here which I felt was also very mis leading again there was 2/3 staff members who stood out but that was it there names were ale and Daniel from the animation team he was very good and very approachable and was very happy to offer the guest some time to talk and if you had any problems 10 out of 10 for Daniel…
The All Inclusive drinks on offer was a joke !!! The beer tasted awful and then to be charged €5 (£5) I should have stayed in my local Wetherspoons ! For £3.29 San Miguel .. gone are the days of cheap and cheerful Spanish holiday they just on the take now .. food ok, only positive we’re a great band of Brits / NI and Irish guest .. you were great company thank you all .. from Elequant Queen of Benidorm to beautiful lady from border area south of Belfast with amazing accent to match her beautiful looks .. made the short trip worth it ! And it was raining back home in Derby 😆
Me and my partner have just returned from a long weekend at Mediterranean bay and are rather disappointed with what we arrived too. The hotel is clean I will give them that the rooms are far too small, the all inclusive is an absolute joke not really an all inclusive we have spent £350 on top of our deal as it isn’t a proper all inclusive… the sky bar was the only reason why we finished our stay it was lovely the staff up there were exceptional. If we were staying for a week we would have walked out! It definitely wasn’t up too standard for what we expect from a 4 star hotel, breakfast was a joke only beetween 7-8am we missed everyday because it was so early!
I prefer to write my review stating the pros and cons in my opinion. Pros are – very clean hotel, excellent food with microwave to heat it when needed, pleasant staff, close to beach, soft pillows. Cons are – hotel on a hill, hard beds, not allowed to drink your alcohol outside of dinning room, swimming pools not heated.
