The resort is placed in a remote Ubud area and you will not find any easy access to any of the amenities outside. The hotel staff do not even know how to serve a beer. They get it delivered opened and warm beer in your room stating that it’s chilled. Menu shows ample of items yet you will not get even half of it available. The room is surrounded by ants, lizards, grasshopper etc. I tried reaching out to the GM – Petros, informing him the situation, the staff said he is at home.m and later he texts my wife with a threatening message over WhatsApp stating that if u continue complaining like this, you will have to face consequences as it is Bali not India. He clearly tried to harass me and my family being racist. When the waiter asked me to sign the bill, I said I will sign it after getting to meet the GM on which he said, we will see you. Is this the type of hospitality a person expects from a hotel? I was traveling with my Wife and infant and after this threatening message from Petros (GM) and the waiter, we couldn’t sleep all night and had to check out early in the morning. The private pool was also very dirty as if it has never been cleaned since it was made. This has been the worst ever experience for me and my family.…
I stayed here for a week and couldn’t recommend it more. The location is absolutely beautiful, right beside some rice terraces! Being in the swimming pool while the sun is setting over the rice fields was amazing. Me and my girlfriend value peace and quiet and this place had that in abundance. It is well away from any roads, all you hear is the animals. The staff are what make the hotel. They are absolutely amazing, so friendly and always willing to help. They even went to town and got cigarettes for us which was unbelievable. The food is top notch as are the cocktails albeit a bit on the pricey side (for Bali). The shuttle to Ubud is very useful, free and punctual. We really enjoyed our stay here and I would urge anybody else to stay!
Stayed here for 1 night just for relaxing my mind after a hectic week. The lobby is spacious, clean and there’s an unique statue beside the reception desk. The check-in was smoothly because the reception was great and details. The room is clean and comfy although is not same as the website picture but I enjoyed the night. There’s a lot of food for breakfast, like nasi goreng, chicken nugget, noodle, bread, jam, etc. The place is quiet, natural and amazing! the open-air, lush garden and bird sounds make the good vibes if you want to find a calm and relax place. Last but not least, keep it up!
The houses need renovation, especially plumbings, although the rooms are clean. The water in the pool wasn’t clear and the machinery was not on all the time, which probably made it worse. The spa made a total mix-up of times and many in our group missed their appointments due to double bookings. Breakfast was rather basic, but ok. In the evening the restaurant staff did not know much (we explained what a gin and tonic is…) and entrees and mains were brought to the table either all at the same time or entrees after the mains. The surroundings with the rice fields were pretty. The shuttle to center worked very well.
The location is ablsolutle magic. Staff is friendly and the shuttle to Ubud comes very handy. We hade a very elaxing holday experience. Just within a few minuites from ubud where you find many restaurants and entertaining establishments. We prefere the tranquil location among the ricefields after a plesant trip to Ubud. If you need a recharging of batteries away from the mad experience in Ubud this is the place.
We have worst experience in this resort, Rooms size are quite good but A.C. is not working because that is not appropriate with rooms, there should be 2 A.C. as per room size, pool was not clean, breakfast for vegetarians is only bread, I asked for milk for my baby they told it will be changeable. Worst restaurant services, they have no buffet for breakfast and just taking order and after order taking 30 to 45 minutes . One should not visit
We’ll spend 2 days on Bhanuswari REsort And Spa on April. We’re looking forward meeting this very friendly people on the Resort. They have offered us breakfast includding, I wish we can have floating breakfast, on the pictures it looks amazing. Thank you very much for your colaboration with our Honeymoon trip. I think it will be great on your hotel!
Went to bhansuwari resort on my honeymoon. The room is outdated and facilities poor. Compared to other resorts during my stay in Bali, this one is over priced and for no good reason. Pool looks dirty and room infested with bugs. Would not recommend this room to anyone. Resort is located in a remote area with nothing to both within the resort and nearby.
great hotel, very friendly staff and great pool views of the rice paddies. we had a lovely floating breakfast. The hotel is located on the outskirts of Ubud center which is actually a very good things you get nice and quite but also just a short drive to the centre which the hotel actually provides a regular shuttle service so don’t let the distance of the hotel to Ubud center put you off The only constructive criticism is that I feel this hotel could be absolutely brilliant but it just needs a little renovation. Even still, it was a great looking hotel and had everything we need, just have to look beyond some of the imperfections. WiFi was also a very good speed.
Here it is in summery. We arrived, it seemed nice until we got to our room. Paint falling off the roof and walls. Pipes rattling all night. So we ask to be moved. They give us a villa at no extra cost (great we think that’s amazing) then we get there. The villa has the public pool next to it so it’s loud. There are no door seals so there’s wildlife everywhere inside (okay we know we’re in a rice field and we’re used to living in a rural place so I let go of that… Breifly.) The first night I wake up to a large lizard chirping at me from on top of the bug net surrounding the bed. I get him out. We now call that guy our alarm lizard because there was no getting rid of him. Okay, we think I can deal with the alarm lizard and the flying things…. At least we have the net. Then comes the ants. Literally thousands of them. Everywhere. I told the staff and they sent a guy with a can of raid which is like breaking off the top of the iceberg and hoping the titanic doesn’t sink… They run a shuttle to Ubud which is great… Except for every time we called to get on the shuttle, they said okay just turn up. Turn we would turn and it would be full, we literally had to stack 14 people into a bus with 9 seats multiple times. Luckily there was a nice family with kids who didn’t mind putting them on their lap. Same thing for the return. Good things: The staff is incredibly friendly and we got to have some great conversations with them. The setting is nice and quiet and out of the way of the busy Ubud center. Breakfast was included and ranged from average some days to really great the other days and I poked my head in what looked like the more modern villas and they looked way nicer.…
