Fantastic hotel with lovely helpful staff across the board. The pool area is stunning. Nice food and perfect location a stones throw away from the sea. The hotel is so peaceful and quiet but a short walk from great restaurants nearby.
My wife and i have been coming to Tenerife every Xmas for past 20 years. This accommodation is probably this best we have stayed in with regards to location services and staff.we will be returning next Xmas .Great location.great service .staff helpful.
The best thing about this hotel is the location, it is minutes from the beach, bars and restaurants. The bungalows are in blocks which are only two floors high and are set in lovely grounds with the lagoon pool snaking through it. Which means the sunbathing areas are small which has the advantage of making it quiet, but also restricts the moving of sunbeds so you can end up in the shade. We stayed in a ground floor deluxe bungalow, There was no air conditioning which was fine as we were there in January, but it would be unbearable in the hotter months. I would like to know what made our bungalow deluxe, it was just basic. Very good size, good little kitchen area with kettle, big fridge but no ice making compartment. A good size terrace with a table and 4 chairs it overlooked the pool, but had a big tree blocking the view. There is no drawer storage in bedroom just wardrobes with shelves. Beds were comfortable. Sometimes our shower was cold, other nights it was fine. Proper hairdryer, so ladies don’t bother bringing one. The hotel is rated 4 star, it is definitely not 4 star, more like a 3 star. Needs a lot more finishing touches and comfort to be 4 star. The food is average and not hot enough, there is always a salad choice and good desserts and ice cream. The inside dining area is too small with tables on top of one another. The guests in the hotel next door also eat at this hotel, it can get very busy. There is a bigger outside eating area but it is too cold to sit out there in January and also its quite a way from where the food is served. The choice for breakfast is good, with a station that cooks omelettes, fried eggs and pancakes. Do not go all inclusive, there are so many nice bars near by that have nice comfortable seats, views and atmosphere. There is one bar at the hotel, the seating area is the same area as the outside dining area, all plastic tables and chairs, no comfort or atmosphere. Cocktails are out of a machine. This is the only area for sitting around in the evening. All outside. The gym is tiny and no air conditioning. Best thing to do walk out of the bottom gate of hotel and enter the bar directly opposite you on the front, has so much choice for drinks and cocktails and very reasonable price. The sun sets right in front of you. Fabulous. You can walk all along the promenade to Los Cristanos and in the other direction up to La Calletta. The beaches are ok, better than I expected but the sand is dark and quite gritty. Playa Dunque beach has lighter sand. Do the Teide volcano cable car trip its a great day out, we booked with Teide.com who were faultless.…
Stayed in January 23 – 2 bed deluxe apartment ground floor (1098) overlooking pool. Overall this was a great experience. I had my elderly parents with me and they loved it. Positives: great spot near front in middle of fanabe beach, beautiful gardens and pools, Great breakfast. aprtment was good . Well appointed. Not massive but pleasant. See negatives for some small points. Nice reception. Negatives: finish on apartment (only really at top of the skirting board ) – was not quite what I would expect for “delux apartment” but only purely cosmetic and parents did not notice ; very easily fixed; quite noisy at times with chairs moving around and passers by within hotel, but only noticed briefly in morning and not an issue over all. Not massive but adequate. Despite this, the apartment was good overall with original artwork on wall. The place not ideal for elderly or disabled – on a bit of a hill with lots of stairs and ramps but despite this my parents in mid 80s enjoyed the challenge/exercise. This is more down to the terrain of resort than the layout of hotel and there was always a workaround (eg ramp), and even made it quite interesting. General: had a great holiday and loved the feel of the place – lots of character and quirky – very distinctive and interesting configuration compared to a lot of places (eg i wandered briefly round comparably priced Sunset Bay Club nearby by the taxi rank at top of pedestrian walkway and it felt very bland and rectangular compared to this place.) Nice looking restaraunt although did not have dinner or lunch.…
The complex is very nice – laid out like a small Spanish village. The apartment was spacious and well appointed. Nice to be on upper floor. Pool was heated, but still a bit cold. Gym was pretty basic but OK. The self – service restaurant was a bit like an up market staff canteen, always plenty of food on offer and the standard was average. My main complaint was the fact that as a vegetarian, there was no veggie main course option ( unless you count cauliflower cheese on 2 nights) so I was limited to having a cheese salad most evenings. I did complain about the fact that I was paying for half board but there was nothing there that I could eat. The sympathetic lady in reception told me that I should ask the chef to cook me something vegetarian. I did try this once, but it took time to get to speak to the chef, to see what he could cook and then wait for it to be cooked, by which time my husband had finished his meal. I didn’t bother for the rest of our stay. It would have been fine if just one main meal offered was vegetarian.…
It is a place where you can de-stress completely, the staff is very helpful and friendly. Very well located near you with everything you need, the place offers you maximum peace. Very good food with taste.
Stayed here for 15 days on All Inclusive basis in Dec/January the location is just wonderful located overlooking Fanabe beach and has its own beach bar with sun beds, drinks and beds being free for All Inclusive guests. The hotel and grounds are absolutely beautiful designed like a mini Venice with pools and sun beds running all through the resort but be aware of early sun bed pirates putting towels on beds from early mornings the management do nothing to stop this even though there are signs forbidding this. Our room was a one bed apartment over looking the main pool and was really nice No 2102. We stayed on the All Inclusive Basis which in retrospect we would not have done so as the vast percentage of guests were on B&B only and either self catered or used the many quality restaurants in the area. The food was what you would expect from a 4 star hotel offering buffet style food so do not expect gourmet quality however there was always something on offer to satisfy modest expectations and breakfast selection was very good though a bit repetitive after a 2 week stay. The resort staff were really excellent very friendly and professional room cleaning was carried out every day along with change of towels and bedding and any issues raised were attended to swiftly and efficiently. I would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely consider rebooking in the future.…
Lovely hotel in a fantastic location, staff very friendly, we will be going back for New Year. Everything you need within walking distance. Our room only gad a fan and no air conditioning, that’s the only thing that would put us off going in the summer
This hotel is in a great location, apartment was clean and comfortable for a family of 4, staff pleasant, and grounds immaculate. Breakfast was also very good selection and quality. Thankfully didn’t go all inclusive as bar very quiet each night, plenty of lovely bars and restaurants on the doorstep including La Tosca, highly recommended! Beware ground floor rooms are very noisy. Lots of chair scraping and banging from 6am, didn’t get a good sleep the whole holiday. We spoke to the occupants, 2 elderly couples who were very apologetic, but had no idea of the noise they were making. Spoke to reception but unfortunately no other rooms available. Will book again but next time get upper apartment.
Stay was excellent from start to finish. Room was excellent with 2 bedrooms and 2 balconys. Balcony got the sun at some parts of the day. Multiple pools and plenty of sun loungers. Apartment was very clean and the maid service was excellent. Ironing facilities in the room given a 4 as no rower in the gym and both elliptical and treadmill not working.Would recommend.
