Villa Bordoni is a must stay if you are traveling to Chianti. This was our 3rd time staying there and each time we leave with fond memories. Ricardo is a true pro and will make you feel welcome. A place where you will feel like a traveler and not a tourist. Bob B

I almost don’t want to review so it doesn’t get harder to book in the future, but I have to say this is by far the best experience we have ever had (and we’re very well traveled). The location is beyond stunning. The staff were exceptional – they all knew who we were and our individual needs all week. We also just genuinely enjoyed their company. Our room (limonaia) was absolutely perfect for us with a private patio. The pool is beautiful with lots of room for all. The breakfast in the garden was beyond lovely every morning, and we chose to have every dinner at the villa as well, scrapping other plans after experiencing how delicious the food was (and again with unmatched service). Wine and olive oil from the property were delicious (we took some home). Plenty of accommodations for gluten free. We will 100% be back on our next trip to Italy and probably spend the full visit here. Thanks to all for an unforgettable stay.…

The hotel service was excellent. The gardens, the view and the olive gardens were a treat to stroll. The service and friendliness of all of the staff was exceptional. The room was more than advertised including a very large and well appointed washroom. We had dinner and breakfast at their restaurant. The food was very tasty and the wine selection at dinner was comprehensive. We would not hesitate to stay again or recommend it. 5 stars in Tuscany.

I cannot say enough good things about Villa Bordoni. We stayed here for the last 5 nights of our honeymoon. We stayed in the Limonada room, which had an amazing patio overlooking the olive groves that felt extremely private. The restaurant and cooking class were excellent, and we loved stopping by the bar for a nightcap. I also cannot say enough about the team there. Ricardo and Ginevra went above and beyond to make our stay amazing. We emailed the hotel ahead of time, and they organized to have two e-bikes dropped off at the hotel and coordinating a wine-tasting bike route for us. They recommended several great restaurants, and Ginevra came in as a true savior when we got a flat tire. She spent hours on the phone with Avis, trying to help us understand what to do. We hope to come back again!!…

Enchanting place to stay. The staff is eager to please and very gracious. Hugo was the perfect host. We took the cooking class from Chef Thomas, learned helpful cooking tips and savored our delicious meal with wonderful local wines. We enjoyed our other dinner meals at the Villa as well. The Duck was delicious. We stayed in the Attica room which was charming yet my husband found the bathroom a bit claustrophobic. It’s tucked under the eaves of the roof line. The plush whites robes are nice touch. The only draw back is the drive up to the Villa. It’s tucked high up on the mountain. The road isn’t paved all the way up to the Villa and there aren’t lights or reflectors along the way making evening driving a bit tricky.

One of the most special and fantastic places I’ve ever been. SO helpful via email before our stay and helping to navigate some travel issues. Ginerva was amazing in making us feel so at home here – she is a gem. The food was out of this world – I am still dreaming of the breakfast spread. The grounds are like out of a fairytale and we loved walking down to other areas. The driver that we were connected with, Sandra, was also amazing. Wish we could go back tomorrow!

Wonderful stay. Beautiful surroundings, great service, terrific food. Can’t wait to go back! People at front desk went out of their way to be helpful. Food was excellently prepared and very fresh. Go, you will never want to leave.

Spending 3 days at Villa Bordoni was a dream come true! We booked our visit the year before Covid and Ricardo (who is great) honored our deposit for 3 years. He also arranged transportation for us to and from the train as well as arranging a driver for a private tour of the local small villages. That was one of my favorite days in Italy..The entire staff made our first visit to Tuscany unforgettable..Everything was exceptional…the views, the rooms, the food and wine, the cappuccino on the porch…and the smell of fresh baked croissants greets you in the morning…We met lovely guests there who all were enjoying their stay as much as us…my only regret is that we didn’t do the cooking class…But now I have a great reason to return. I have the most amazing memories till that time comes. Ricardo and staff….we miss you and thank you for our 3 days in heaven!!!…

Absolutely stunning. Wonderful rooms, beautiful villa, sensational views! The whole experience was amazing, with unobtrusive but lovely service. The food was something spectacular. We really didn’t know what to expect, but were gutted we only booked two nights!

We stayed at Villa Bordoni for our honeymoon in May 2022 and had a truly incredible experience! The team at VIlla Bordoni was so helpful before we arrived – helped reserve bikes for us and scheduled a truly unforgettable bike route around Tuscany – from recommending some favorite stops to coordinating with the vineyards. The service was impeccable. Room was beautiful. Breakfast every morning in the garden delicious. Cooking class at the Villa our favorite (and most memorable!) meal on our honeymoon. Ricardo and team – thank you for an incredible stay!!
