The Iberostar Costa del Sol is right on Estepona beach in the Costalita residential development. The hotel’s AcquaPlaya Centre has two areas, both of which use water treatments at different temperatures to treat various conditions, or simply to create a relaxing environment as an antidote to stress. In the Club Acquaplaya the hydrotherapy circuit has jet sprays at different levels and whirlpools, as well as saunas and relax areas plus the special ‘fruit pool’, Indo-Roman bath and Turkish baths; for a contrast, try the cold pool and ice cave.
In the Therapy Zone there are specialist treatments on offer, including fast jet spray massage, seaweed baths, massage and facials. Packages are available, based on room and breakfast: Spa Experience weekend (Friday to Sunday) offers use of the spa plus one treatment; Spa Escape, Sunday to Friday, offers use of spa plus two treatments. You can also visit Acquaplaya for the day, making use of all the facilities, without staying overnight.
Open Tuesday to Sunday 10am – 2pm, 5pm – 9pm, closed Monday. Note that towels for the spa are charged at 1 euro each. Please note: this hotel is only open seasonally (May to October). Call to check for opening dates.
