A great location for visiting Seville. We were able to walk everywhere. This hotel has great outdoor spaces inside giving it a really special feel. A nod to Seville’s Moorish history. Our room was a little on the small side and the bathroom a little tired but on the whole a nice room. The hotel was very clean and the staff really helpful.

We have just returned from a three night stay. Thank you for making our stay so good. So here’s why. 1. Location is superb you can walk from the hotel to all major locations plus lots of other hidden away gems 2. Staff friendly helpful and knowledgable. Plus we asked if we could have an extension to our stay as son is blind. No problem. Wonderful service 3.Room was perfect it was 164 plenty of room for the three of us. 4. Hotel was lovely just so much character. Clean light and airy with two court yards to sit and have a coffee. Breakfast was extremely good with a great selection of food to start your day. 5. Overall stay here it’s a 25 euro cab ride from the airport. It’s a quiet location but within a very short walk to local bars restaurants etc which make Seville perfect for a city break. Plus you have a lovely place to stay Hotel Cervantes. Thank you all…

This hotel is 5 minutes walk away from las setas (the wooden mushroom sculpture) and therefore close to lots of bars and restaurants in the area. The alcazar is around 15 minutes away but a pleasant walk through the town. The hotel room and bathroom was big enough for us as a couple. The room was clean, the courtyard was very nice that we passed everyday to get to the room. The reception team were very welcoming and helped us arrange a taxi going back to the airport. This is a great base for exploring seville and I’d recommend if you aren’t fussy over luxuries, for instance the room and bathroom was dated, no kettle or tea or coffee, the window had stutters as it looked out over the street but despite this staying shut the light in the room was still fine. We stayed on a room only basis so can’t comment on the food as we chose to eat out. Nice stay overall and would return if we came back.…

We chose the hotel Cervantes based on the reviews and the location. We were driving to Sevilla and finding the hotel was quite straightforward with a GPS but be warned somd of the streets are really narrow and access to the hotel underground parking is even narrower! We checked in a room which was OK but certainly not a 4 star product. First there was no proper window, only an opening over a courtyard and the bathroom was rather tiny. That said the front desk staff was very helpful and the breakfast offering was good.

The hotel has a customer-hostile monetary policy. You have to pay the full price two weeks before your stay, but you don’t get a confirmation from the hotel that you have paid. When asked, you are told that you will only get the confirmation at checkout. So the hotel doesn’t trust its customers, but you are forced to trust the hotel. It would be fair that you only have to pay when you get your bill.

An absolutely perfect hotel in almost every way. Except for the constant banging of doors all night and people coming and going and talking. I feel absolutely shattered from the lack of sleep. I just want home now. Avoid the rooms overlooking the courtyard….room 123 is right next to metal stairs and is no good for trying to sleep. Apart from that, it is a great hotel to stay at. Staff are lovely, rooms are ideal. Plenty hot water for baths, constant supply of fresh towels. The location is central to everything and Seville has been one of the best places to visit. However, there’s no place like home.

We have stayed in this hotel twice before (pre-Covid) and on both occasions were absolutely delighted with the service, value for money and general professional way the staff operated. After a two year wait we decided to visit again, hoping standards had not slipped – and we were not disappointed. Rooms and bar facilities perfect as before – meals brilliant (a fantastic range of choices that would surely cater for everyone) – though we went half-board, we purchased a bar lunch on arrival and this was also excellent value for money. Even something as simple as the shower – we reckon it’s one of the best hotel showers we have ever used. Location is also a major plus – a five minute walk from the nearest train station (15-minutes from Malaga Airport) and a six minute walk to the nearest bus station. There’s also a lift around the corner that takes you down to the seafront for 50-cents. It’s impossible to find fault with this establishment so huge credit to the staff, including the household staff who kept our rooms spotlessly clean. Bravo!…

As previously mentioned about Cervantes, The lift is close to some rooms,my one being 163. In fairness it was bearable, though I have noticed through the years that hotels assign their least desirable rooms first to get shut of them so maybe later check in the way to go? Breakfast wasn’t great, that’s all you need to know. One other thing occurred to me, Spent seven nights here coming and going 24/7, but with all the Holas and Buenas Diaz’s not once did anyone inquire was everything alright or how was my stay! But of course they may have already known the answer to that question!

I accidentally booked the wrong weekend. I tried to rebook the days I needed but they were not available. I requested twice to be refunded. After speaking with the booking provider over the phone and the receptionist in person, it is clear that the decision was 100% at the discretion of the owner, and it was his choice not to refund me. The 2nd time I was offered and accepted half of the cost was refunded. I do not think I should have been penelized for an honest mistake. Not very nice.

We couldn’t go because of a flight cancellation. When we called to the hotel they seemed very helpful and empathic with our situation but later on we faced with a lack of transparency and information. They told us that they would make as much efforts as possible to apply some count of discount in the cancellation terms but a simple and automatic email was sent the morning after without any other explanation more than “your request has been denied”. Such a pitty after having spent time on the phone & taking this particular case into account.
