Quite disappointed for a so called 4 star hotel should be at most a 3 star and not for the staff as they were fantastic very welcoming and friendly but the rooms were quite poor as the room that we had was linked to another room with another door and on countless occasions we could hear everything from the occupying room which fortunately was not as bad as it could have been. The gardeners were out at 8.30am and again at 10am and the pool was closed for cleaning at 2pm in the midst of the day for an hour at least. The decorative pools around the hotel began to smell during the evening and the sounds of the occupying wildlife were heard through the doors of our room – not a pleasant night sleep was to had during our 5 night stay. Also, the prices of food was taking the complete mick when you consider that a £25 breakfast at the hotel was the same as a £5 buffet in a neighbouring hotel just a 3 minute walk away. Thankfully this hotel was overshadowed by the next hotel on our trip which gratefully deserved their 4 star recommendation.…

Cabana rooms with own plunge pool / jacuzzi are great! You have your own space within a big hotel area and can enjoy your own privacy. Great breakfast with everything one could imagine. Location perfect in the center of Karon, close to the beach.

We bought our package with a TripADeal promotion. To be honest I wasn’t expecting much for the price but we were really surprised! We loved the convenience of this hotel, just a short walk to everything. The staff were all pleasant and ultra friendly. Fabulous buffet breakfast every day offering plenty of choice. We upgraded our room to a cabana which was really lovely and had an outdoor spa bath and shower. Would definitely return.

We had a great time in Centara Karon resort. Very nice buffet breakfast and very helpful staff. Very good service. Nice and comfortable room. We would recommend the hotel to family and friends. 😊😊😊😊

Not an unpleasant hotel, but disappointing after previous stays in Thailand – could be better! Parts of the hotel including restaurant areas are very good and food and service are excellent. Some of the rooms are way past needing a refit – especially the bathrooms. The main kids pool was disappointing as it should have been excellent – large with slides, however there were several dirty areas that I pointed out to staff more than once (in writing), could have been sorted quickly but I was ignored. The other 2 pools were excellent so it was hard to understand.

I am currently staying at the centara Karon. We have stayed here many times over the years, yes the rooms are becoming tired but they are still very spacious, clean and comfortable. Grounds are spotless. Breakfast is very busy with long queues for the egg station but the choice is plentiful and staff are amazing. The garden bar is no longer in use. My only gripe is children being allowed in the adult only pool, there are 2 other pools they could use, one with water slides etc specifically for children. Some people book this hotel because it has an adult only pool but staff seem reluctant to tell the families that turn up until someone complains.

The pool area was very relaxing all the time we went there dinner and food were amazing. The service was very good and the staff so polite to us. It wasn’t to far from the beach just a short drive to patong

Great stay, had the private pool cabana, great location very near to karon beach but only thing lacking was Indian food in breakfast buffet, the food choices can be improved and the resort can be a bit more happening.

Fantastic hotel and brilliant staff . A special thanks to Fai and Eddy whom were outstanding.The pool area was great,, great breakfast choices,very near to beach and Markets.. standards are very high. The area is very safe

Hotel was very good rooms clean and spacious Breakfast was very good with wide range of food available. Booked half board basis with good menu for evening meal. All staff polite. Pool areas clean and tidy with towels available throughout the day. Will book again for next year.
