Have recently come back from a week stay at the sanfe apartments in puerto rico, We visit puerto rico 2/3 times a year but this was the first and last at these apartments. There is no reception, you ring a number on arrival and someone comes to let you in, we were lucky as the guy was there, I requested a tv as advertised ( tv available on request and this was confirmed on my booking) I had to ring the owner who said he will try and get us one !!!!!, needless to say it never arrived. One day sat round the pool an estate agent came into our apartment to show it as it was for sale!!!!! Bit intrusive I thought and made me wonder if people were going in when we were out!. We stayed in room 44 if you do choose to stay at these apartments do not stay in that one. The maids meet there at 7-30 ish every morning apart from Sunday’s and they are so noisy, it wakes you up.You need to have a shower/bath before 4pm in the afternoon as the hot water runs out, we also had to purchase light bulbs as 3 went on us in one day !!!!,the bedding was not changed either during the stay. Positives, are the views, we had the pool to ourselves as it was quiet and the smell of the food coming from La Taberna restaurant underneath the apartments. One hint if you do decide to stay there if you get a taxi always give the name of the restaurant not the apartments as the drivers do not seem to be familiar with the apartments…

When considering booking these apartments through teletext holidays I went online to try and suss them out before committing to anything. I could find only one or two reviews which said it was basic but clean, and I would have to agree. My Mum (62) and I (30) went for a weeks chill out holiday in March. All we were after was a clean apartment complex with views of the harbour/beach and not too far up the hill. The apartments were situated above La Taberna restaurante (which is lovely by the way, definitely go!!) and although there was an office, there was no-one there to greet us so I had to use my mobile and ring a number on the window then hang about waiting on a guy from a sister hotel at at the other side of town to make his way over in a taxi to sort us out with a room. When he eventually arrived 30 mins later, he spent another 15 minutes looking for a key to our room. He couldn’t find the key he was looking for so gave us a different room, the only key he could find. The apartment we got was on the ground floor, and although it was situated on a hill we weren’t able to get the sea views that we were after, instead we got rooftops of the buildings across the road. The apartment itself was very cean and spacious and the beds were the comfiest I’ve ever had on holiday. The maid came in every other day but only changed our towels once. The pool area was clean and tidy but the pool always had lots of flys etc in it which was a bit off putting. It looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a while, but when it got so hot I had to just deal with it and jump in for a dip! It seemed to us that some of the apartments were owned privately and those guests that were there filling up the other rooms were mostly Dutch or German, I think we were the only British there. Although most rooms were taken, we basically had the whole pool area to ourselves which was nice for privacy, although I like to people watch so would have prefered a pool bar and music for a bit of entertainment. The Apartments are situated half way up the hill, so, midway between the seafront at the bottom, and the Europa Centre at the top. The steps to go up and down are located down towards the Harbour area and going down was fine but going up was another matter!! All in all, a fine apartment, nothing fancy, just basic. I think next time I’d spend an extra £100 and get the views I wanted and a better location.…

los apartamentos son denigrantes no tienen television es mas no tenian ni el cable de antena,llas camas defondadas,la piscina mas pequeña imposible una gran estafa y sin duda las peores vacaciones de mi vida y lo peor de todo es que la pagina destinia fue con los que la contrate no hagan caso de esa pagina

Meget fint og roligt, med kort vei til stranden, mange fastboende norske i området. i kjelleren er det en meget flott resturant som holder høy standard med lave priser.
