  That’s my lucky restaurant! I found a pearl in the mussel while I ate the mussel and frites. We also tried the lamb and a chess egg. The wine was good. The food was big size and taste okay, not so impressed than their price.

  It was “ok.” Mussels with white wine sauce and cream were good, as were the Provençal. Entrecot was ok, but when asked to cook it “a little bit more” they toasted it – dry. Uh-oh.

  Desserts were good. Their draught Leffe Blonde was good.
  Service was poor. We waited and waited and waited between each course. Not for this price should service be like this. A shame.
  Would I go back? For dessert yes.

  We were looking for a good place to eat and our concierge suggested that we make reservations at this place when we visited Grand Place in the afternoon. While walking along Petite rue des Bouchers to this restaurant expect to be beckoned a couple of 100 times by the Maitre D’s of all the restaurants that are situated along the narrow alley. Coming back to the restaurant, the dining setup for dinner is on the formal side so we’d recommend that you dress up accordingly.

  For our dinner, we got an order of Moules Provençales since we wanted to eat Mussels in Brussels and also an order of Waterzooi de Poulet because the waiter suggested that we try it when we asked for a Belgian entrée recommendation.
  Waterzooi is a rich Flemish stew made out of egg yolk, cream and broth and is typically made with fish or poultry of your choice. The waterzooi was delicious and the chicken was literally fall of the bone juicy.
  The Provençal style Mussels were delectable but simple in contrast. All in all a very satisfying meal. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Bruxelles.

  I ordered 3 dishes and all were perfection. Any of the mussel preparations are stellar, but I have a penchant for the garlic butter. Daily terrines with fois gras are fun and delicious, and a surprise hit – endive salad with bacon and blue cheese. It was like the best BLT you ever had with the best blue cheese you’ve ever had. The restaurant is on the pricier side of restaurants, but you will not walk away feeling cheated. It was worth every dime for me!
