This 3-star apartment hotel is situated in the chestnut tree-lined Klosterallee avenue in Hamburg’s elegant Harvestehude district, near the Alster Lake. Ivy House offers stylish apartments with attractive garden, free WiFi and broadband internet. I had a small room, but it was nicely equipped – there was a kitchen and a desk suited for work. Room was clean. Location for me was great – there are a lot of restaurants nearby and metro station is not that far. Even though I haven’t met any of the staff, I felt very welcome there.

The rooms at Hotel Volkschule are designed in a modern style, featuring cable TV and an en suite bathroom. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide range of options also for vegans. The rooms and bathrooms looked very good, as did the building in general. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. There even were two free bottles of water in the room.

The staff is super friendly and exceeded our expectations by far. The location of the hotel is very central. The beds are really comfortable.

Henri Hotel Hamburg Downtown features spacious suites and studios with hand-crafted furniture and solid wooden flooring. All rooms are equipped with a large flat-screen TV and hot drinks facilities. All rooms feature an open bathroom concept with separate WC. The hotel is in a fantastic location – just a 5 minute walk from the main station, yet in a quiet street, and within easy reach of the old town. We had a slightly bigger room than the standard double, so there was a seating area, and table. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, seemingly nothing was too much trouble. There is an amazing bar and snack area where you can get drinks, coffee & all kinds of snacks at any hour. All in all, I can’t recommend the Henri hotel highly enough, and we would not hesitate to book there again on our next visit!

Great location within a couple of minutes’ walk of the U Bahn (lines U2 and U3) which get you into the centre really quickly. Car park is great, and secure. Bed super-comfy and the best pillows so far in any of the hotels on this tour. Would use again when next in HH.

We love staying here. The place has a beautiful and stylish design based on the North Sea. It’s very calming and inviting. The facilities are clean and comfortable, and the surrounding views of trees and the neighborhood are lovely. The beds are comfortable, and the kitchen is useful. We love the location because it’s a short walk from the train, but out of the way from the city noise and action. A peaceful place to come back. Self check-in is easy and convenient.

Very warm welcoming by staff. ALL staff was very professional, friendly and helpful. Interior of hotel has partially marble, which gives a luxury feel to the hotel. Rooms are spacious and very well equipped. Loved the fact that there were plenty of plugs to charge your phones, Laptop, electrical toothbrush etc. Rooms interior design makes you feel relaxed. Lot’s of international TV channels to choose from, including the option to do wireless projection from your phone to TV.
