After reading the latest reviews I was worried but they can t have been staying at the Atlantic View. Everyone from reception to bar staff and restaurant staff ,room cleaning staff were super efficient and very helpful nothing was too much trouble for them. I needed a needle one night and recepetion actually found one and even threaded the needle for me. Only gripe people tended to put towels on sunbeds and then disappear.

This hotel deserves 5 stars right across the board. The waiting staff are always smiling and always there to help. Nothing was too much trouble. Special shout out to Ivan. Housekeeping were in your room everyday cleaning. Every member of staff said hello every time. We did B&B and what was in offer each day was amazing, so much choice. Homemade granola was 5*. Nightly entertainment was not for us but that didn’t matter. Great for dancing. Pools opened at 8am and yes there was people there getting their beds sitting in dressing gowns or coats. No need as plenty of sun-beds. If we were to return to Gran Canaria it would be this hotel

Clean and bright, with very friendly service. The rooms are spot on, with a small kitchen area (with everything you need to make breakfast and lunch), comfy beds and good shower. The cleaning team is friendly and does a great job. There are three pools, close to each other, and plenty of sun beds and sun brollies. Sometimes there’s a bit of noise from surrounding hotels or the odd water aerobics session, but generally it’s quiet and great if you prefer peace, like us. The bar area is spacious and modern, with brilliant staff. There’s usually live, easy-listening music and space to dance, if that’s your thing! We ate a la carte twice and enjoyed both meals. The rest of the time we went out for dinner and there are plenty of great restaurants within a short walk. There’s a small shop on site and also a well stocked Spar round the corner. A great choice for a week of spring sun!…

Excellent in every way 🙂 hotel is immaculate, first day here was greeted with champagne for my husbands 50th, I was here over 20 years ago when it was sunwing for our honeymoon and the staff were excellent then and are even better now 🙂 so friendly and accommodating 🙂 grounds excellent 🙂 as to the negative reviews about older people it’s an adult only complex what do people expect! I can only add some people are never happy but I would be quite fussy and cannot fault this hotel love it 🙂

This is an honest review on this hotel, we arrived yesterday and we are in room 331, Prior to travelling I took the time to email the hotel as it’s our 30th wedding anniversary and asked if they could allocate us a nice room etc, I received the standard reply, saying thanks for contacting us we will see what we can do On check in this was never mentioned that I had emailed, nor was it mentioned to say congratulations etc, a nice glass of champagne etc, well it is 5 star apparently (not) no room upgrade and the room view overlooking someone else’s balcony, see photo The rooms are dated and need a refurbishment tbh, well it is 5 star apparently (not) We attended evening meal in the restaurant last night, please please please let not this be the standard for the week, cold food, empty trays of food, I was expecting something more high class , well it is 5 star apparently (not) The drinks in the hotel bar are not all inclusive, only local cheap spirits and 1 x draft beer are all inclusive, everything else you need to pay, in a 5 star hotel, I would have thought all drinks would be available, an example is a local Bacardi and coke is €6.10, this in all inclusive, but if you want branded Bacardi and coke you need to pay €6.10 We approached reception last night and asked for a coffee Nespresso machine in our room to replace the filter coffee machine, we have seen on the hotel website that some rooms have Nespresso machines, we were told we can have one but need to rent the machine, I thought this hotel was 5 Star, apparently not, rent a coffee machine have you heard anything so ridiculous in a 5 star hotel The demographic in this hotel is 65 to 70 plus so if you are looking for entertainment, nice drinks, good foo and a nice room, please book somewhere else So I’m just being honest about my experience so far, I won’t come back unless these issues are resolved …

A good four-star hotel for adults only. Good points: tranquility, spacious modern room, view from the balcony from the 4th floor, usable kitchenette, thorough cleaning and the hotel’s comprehensive breakfast as well as friendly hard-working restaurant staff. Bad sides: location far from the beach, poor soundproofing of the room (especially the sealing of the front door) and all the receptionists are not friendly because they sometimes sigh and roll their eyes at normal questions (maybe a paying customer has stupid questions?). In addition, in the evening during the evening program, the lobby is painfully hot, why is there no air conditioning or ventilation? Many wondered the same thing at the hotel and in the reviews. Still, at the level of Playa del Ingles, a good hotel.

Unless you over 80 this hotel is not for you the staff are friendly but the ambiance is that of a care home. The average age of people here are over 70 the entertainment is poor and to be honest there is not much to do locally to compensate The hotel is also mainly Scandinavian guests so why Jet 2 have this as a recommended hotel beats me

Excellent food which varied everyday. We had all inclusive which is a very good solution as breakfast was wonderful, lunch very good and dinner quite nice. Also drinks are included. Rooms are clean and rather modern. We had a two bedrooms accommodation with living room and big balcony. It was great! We warmly recommend it. The whole hotel was clean and nicely decorated. The staff was extremely friendly and helped us in every issue we had. The best staff we have ever experienced! Thank you all!

VERY NOISY The positives: clean, great staff and service, large room, good gym and class teacher. The negatives: the rooms in the main block back onto an open corridor above a parking area, the main entrance and the back of the kitchens constantly noise from people walking along corridor, reversing lorries and bottles being emptied. A floor cleaner goes along about 0400 and has a squeaky wheel so expect tk be woken up. Air con loud and hopeless, fridge very loud. Furniture scrapes on floor of rooms and balconies to add to the racket. Ear plugs are essential. They have a note in the room to say towels will be removed if not occupied on sunbeds before 0900 but by then half are gone as well as empty. By 1030 forget any chance of getting one.

This hotel was recommended by a friend very favourably. Rebecca and her husband enjoyed their stay and thought we would too. Great reception staff, smiling and friendly, nothing too much trouble. Lovely clean and well appointed room Who doesnt love a walkin shower! Loved the oasis pool, it was the only one that we used as it suited us but it was reassuring to see that the water was tested regularly. Buffet style food with themes but plentiful. The entertainment was on 6 out of 7 nights, have to say that although you could tell English was a second language, the voices were great and the keyboard a guitar playing was excellent. As previous comments, the bar could do with air conditioning as it quickly became hot and stuffy, we retreated to the cool of our room when it became too much. I had a deluxe pedicure, was lovely to come away with “new”feet.. i think they gave the beauty therapist a challenge as she tutted at my neglect though!!! A bit too far out for our tastes as we do tend to be beach people.. but a walk or bus ride soon dealt with that! Woukd recommend fora chilled stay …
